Jason Glover
Jason Glover has worked in the marketing teams of major companies for over twenty years, including over ten years in online marketing roles. His extensive experience in online marketing includes the full circle of acquisition, conversion and retention, including Web site builds, microsites, email marketing and search engine marketing (both SEO and PPC).
Jason has a keen interest in technology and futurism, especially its impact on people and society, and believes that a Technological Singularity is one day possible, meaning that immortality could be achieved and artificial intelligence will far exceed human intelligence. He also has a keen interest in mobile technology and has both an iPhone and a Blackberry.
Jason's interest in technology and futurism extends also to movies, TV and novels and he is a big cinema fan and an avid reader. His favourite movies include Star Wars and the latest Star Trek movie and he is a big fan of the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica series and Fringe. His favourite science fiction authors include Dan Simmons and Peter F Hamilton, with his favourite books probably Hamilton's epic Confederation Saga.
Jason is also a big video games fan, on both PC and PS3, and has been playing games for over twenty years. His favourite games of all time are Civilization, Half Life 2 and the Mass Effect games.
